Important information regarding the mobile passport station

During the Fall of 2019, the mobile passport stations have been affected by major technical issues. Despite a thorough troubleshooting process, the problems cannot be solved. Therefore, the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Sweden in Washington, D.C. regret to inform you that the mobile passport service will no longer be available.

Consequently, all upcoming appointments for the passport station in Seattle in November have unfortunately been cancelled.

We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause you.

Swedish passport and national ID-card applications can be submitted in person at the Embassy of Sweden in Washington, D.C. or at the Consulate General of Sweden in New York. The Embassy will make additional appointments available in the coming months.
